Magic Circle firm seeking an experienced technology lawyer for a 6-month contract role supporting a financial services organization. You'll provide specialized legal counsel in enterprise technology, digital regulatory compliance, and technology-enabled business transformation.

The work:

• Support enterprise technology legal matters for a financial services team
• Advise on EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) implementations and regulatory compliance
• Review and counsel on enterprise technology agreements
• Ensure compliance with APRA standards and CPS 230 frameworks
• Support digital transformation and enterprise regulatory initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of technology law experience
• Expertise in financial services law and regulatory compliance
• Practical experience with DORA requirements and implementation
• Knowledge of APRA standards and prudential regulatory frameworks
• Ability to work independently and manage work autonomously
• Current practicing certificate required
• Right to work in Australia
