Technology Companies Associate, San Francisco · Leading Technology and Finance Firm

This is a mid-level opportunity with a top-tier firm's technology companies group in San Francisco. You'll work with growth-stage and venture-backed software and technology companies on their key transactions and corporate matters, from early fundraising through IPOs and strategic acquisitions.

The work:

• Support venture-backed tech companies through Series A, B, C and later financing rounds
• Manage both acquisitions and sales of portfolio companies
• Navigate private and public capital markets transactions
• Lead substantial components of transactions independently while coordinating with senior attorneys
• Provide business and corporate transaction strategy

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of law firm experience on technology company deals
• Deep expertise in venture capital financings, M&A transactions, and securities work
• Top law school credentials with strong academic performance
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Current bar admission or immediate eligibility
• Ability to work up deal documentation and present to clients
