Top-tier tax practice seeking associates for the renewable energy group. The role focuses on tax structuring for renewable energy investments, advising developers and investors on tax equity transactions and qualification for U.S. federal tax credits and related incentives. You'll analyze complex deal structures, navigate evolving federal tax regulations, and counsel clients on transaction documentation and compliance requirements. This is a lateral hire opportunity targeting law school classes of 2024–2021. Ideal candidates have transactional tax experience in renewable energy, project finance, or similar industries, strong academic credentials, and admission to practice in Washington D.C., Texas, or both. Experience with institutional investors and large project financings is preferred. Base compensation estimated between $235,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
