Structured Finance Associate, New York · Am Law 50 Firm

Am Law 50 Firm asset-based finance and securitization practice. Seeking mid to senior associate with 4-5 years in structured finance. The practice handles complex asset-backed transactions across multiple asset classes, bringing together specialists from related areas including fund finance and restructuring.

The work:

• Structure asset-based financings and securitizations for institutional investors
• Advise originators and issuers on accessing private capital through securitizations, warehouse facilities, and whole loan sales
• Work across asset classes including consumer, commercial, and infrastructure assets
• Coordinate with specialists in fund finance, special situations, and restructuring
• Manage document drafting, transaction documentation, and regulatory considerations

What they're looking for:

• Substantive experience with securitization, asset-backed lending, or structured finance
• Track record as key deal team member with document drafting and transaction management responsibility
• Exposure to ABS, CLOs, or rated facilities strongly preferred
• Background in fund finance, special situations restructurings, or private credit valued
• Bar admission in good standing required; in-person New York role
