Strategic Transactions and Licensing Associate, Boston and Atlanta · Leading Venture Capital and Technology Law Firm

Venture and technology law firm with offices in Boston and Atlanta seeks a mid-level associate to join its technology and commercial transactions group. The position focuses on commercial agreements, venture financing transactions, and M&A work for emerging companies, venture capital firms, and growth equity investors across technology, AI, financial services, and consumer sectors. You'll manage a varied portfolio of matters with direct client contact and cross-functional collaboration with corporate, IP, and other practice groups.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements for technology companies
• Work on venture financing transactions and buy-side/sell-side M&A deals
• Provide general business and product counseling to startup clients
• Collaborate with IP, corporate, and other practice areas on complex deals
• Manage multiple concurrent client matters independently

What they're looking for:

• Attorneys admitted 2019-2021 or those with substantial commercial contract or venture M&A experience
• Demonstrated competency in strategic commercial contracting and negotiation
• Experience managing venture financing or M&A transactions
• Strong credentials from top law school
• Massachusetts or Georgia bar admission preferred
