AmLaw 100 firm seeking senior M&A associate in Fort Lauderdale. Lead complex transactions across multiple industries from structuring through closing, with significant client-facing and team leadership responsibilities.

The work:

• Lead M&A transactions from structuring through closing and post-closing matters
• Manage deal teams and supervise junior associates and support staff
• Serve as primary legal contact for clients on transaction strategy
• Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents
• Coordinate with tax, regulatory, IP, and finance specialists on complex issues
• Handle high-stakes negotiations and resolve post-closing disputes

What they're looking for:

• J.D. from accredited law school; Florida Bar admission required
• 6-8+ years of M&A and corporate transactional experience at a leading firm
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage all transaction aspects
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client management skills
• Cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transaction experience preferred
• Private equity fund and portfolio company representation experience valued
