Senior Associate, Sydney · Leading Global Construction and Infrastructure Firm

Global construction law firm with a Sydney office seeks a senior associate to handle complex project disputes and infrastructure advisory work. The role spans contentious and non-contentious matters across the full project lifecycle—from dispute resolution through litigation and arbitration to project delivery counseling. You'll work on major transport, energy, and development projects with multi-jurisdictional scope, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to business development.

The work:

• Manage complex construction disputes and project-related litigation across multiple jurisdictions
• Handle arbitration and adjudication proceedings
• Advise on project delivery issues and dispute prevention strategies
• Develop client relationships and support business development
• Mentor junior lawyers and develop practice resources

What they're looking for:

• 6+ years post-qualification experience in construction law
• Experience with contentious and/or non-contentious construction matters
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical capabilities
• Commercial judgment and client relationship skills
• Team-oriented approach with mentoring capability
