Senior associate position in Melbourne focused on project development and finance work across energy, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. The role involves advising clients through all project stages, from planning and financing through construction and operation.

The work:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating major project agreements including construction contracts, procurement agreements, and offtake agreements
• Supporting project management and legal coordination across timelines, deliverables, and client engagement
• Advising consortiums, financiers, equity investors, and contractors on major project tenders
• Managing multiple workstreams and delivering high-quality work under time pressure
• Supporting junior staff on transaction execution

What they're looking for:

• Four to seven years of PQE with Australian qualification
• Demonstrated experience advising on major projects in transport, power, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Excellent drafting and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining composure under pressure
• Team player with strong client focus and professional presence
