Senior Associate, Los Angeles · AmLaw 100 Firm

A senior associate role (5-7 years) with the firm's nationally recognized Private Equity practice, which has represented over 200 PE firms and portfolio companies in recent years, with particular depth in healthcare private equity. You will quarterback transactions and assume meaningful client-facing responsibility on acquisitions, add-ons, divestitures, minority investments and exits, working alongside senior lawyers with a national platform of PE relationships.

The work:

• Lead transaction management on platform and add-on acquisitions, sales, and other exits
• Handle minority investments, joint ventures, and secondary transactions
• Work on governance and investor-relations matters arising from portfolio investment
• Draft key transaction documents and manage negotiations with clients and counterparties
• Coordinate across workstreams and manage complex deal timelines

What they're looking for:

• 5-7 years of acquisitions experience advising private equity funds and sponsors
• Demonstrated ability to manage transaction workstreams independently
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent written and oral communication
• California bar admission
• Track record of working directly with clients on sophisticated transactions

Compensation: $365,000-$415,000. The firm offers hybrid work arrangements, pro bono credit toward billable targets, and merit bonuses.
