The firm's Sanctions and Trade Controls team seeks associates for offices across the United States, with priority consideration for New York, Richmond, and Washington D.C. The team handles complex regulatory and transactional work at the intersection of international trade and national security.

The work:

• CFIUS filing and regulatory compliance
• Export control and sanctions due diligence
• Transaction documentation and coordination
• Regulatory analysis of trade-sensitive matters
• Cross-border compliance monitoring and risk assessment
• Support for matters involving sanctions regimes

What they're looking for:

• 2 to 5 years of regulatory compliance or transactional experience
• Prior exposure to CFIUS, export controls, and sanctions
• Ability to conduct detailed regulatory analysis and manage complex documentation
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Government or regulatory background is preferred but not required
• Admission to the bar in good standing in the applicable state
• Compensation: $235,000 to $310,000, based on experience
