Restructuring Associate, New York & Washington, D.C. · Vault Top-Tier Firm

This Vault-tier firm's restructuring practice is seeking a mid-level associate with significant experience in complex reorganizations. You'll represent creditors (particularly secured creditors) in major chapter 11 cases and out-of-court transactions, managing both litigation and transactional aspects of high-stakes restructuring deals.

The work:

• Represent secured and other creditors in large-scale chapter 11 reorganizations
• Handle out-of-court restructuring transactions and negotiations
• Manage litigation aspects of creditor claims and recovery strategies
• Work on creditor committees, proofs of claim, and plan negotiations

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years restructuring experience at a major law firm
• Expertise in both litigation and transactional restructuring
• Strong track record with chapter 11 cases and creditor representation
• JD from ABA-accredited law school; bar admission required

Compensation: $260,000-$390,000 base, plus annual and discretionary bonuses.
