Restructuring Associate, New York and Chicago · Restructuring-Focused Firm

Join the restructuring practice to work on complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and out-of-court workouts for lenders and operating companies. You'll develop expertise in negotiating credit agreements, exercising creditor remedies, and drafting restructuring documentation across diverse industries.

The work:

• Negotiate and draft loan agreements and restructuring support agreements
• Prepare bankruptcy filings including plans of reorganization and first-day motions
• Execute creditor remedies and coordinate workout strategies
• Advise lenders and debtors on transaction structuring and alternatives to restructuring
• Manage in-court and out-of-court workout processes

What they're looking for:

• 2-3 years' substantive experience in restructuring, Chapter 11, or workout matters
• Strong drafting and organizational skills; ability to manage detail-heavy filings
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• State bar admission in New York or Illinois required
