Restructuring Associate, Multiple US Locations · Am Law 100 Firm

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a restructuring associate for offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, or New York. You will represent creditors and secured lenders through all phases of bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. The work involves complex financial arrangements, reorganization planning, and asset management.

The work:

• Advising secured lenders and other creditors in bankruptcy proceedings
• Structuring and negotiating DIP financing arrangements
• Drafting and implementing plans of reorganization
• Handling asset dispositions and foreclosure matters
• Facilitating out-of-court workouts and restructurings
• Managing liability transactions and assignments for the benefit of creditors

What they're looking for:

• 4-6 years of law firm experience in bankruptcy and restructuring
• Demonstrated expertise in secured lending and creditor representation
• Excellent writing and analytical capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Salary range $225,000 to $420,000
