Renewable Energy Associate, Houston · Premier Energy Firm

Premier energy firm seeking associate to work on renewable energy infrastructure and corporate M&A. You'll handle project finance for solar, wind, battery storage, clean hydrogen, and other clean energy technologies, including tax equity structuring and tax credit monetization. You'll also support corporate M&A across industries, advising developers, sponsors, investors, and lenders on transaction structure and documentation.

The work:

• Tax equity financing and tax credit monetization for renewable energy projects
• Project development, financing, acquisition, and disposition of energy infrastructure
• Joint ventures and preferred equity arrangements for clean energy investments
• Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for public and private companies
• Transaction document drafting and review
• Due diligence on project and corporate transactions

What they're looking for:

• 1–8 years of experience in project finance, energy transactions, tax equity, or M&A
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a collaborative environment
• Interest in renewable energy and the energy transition
• Background in related transactional areas welcomed
