Real Estate Litigation Associate, Charlotte, NC · AmLaw 100 Firm

National law firm seeking experienced real estate litigation associate for its Charlotte office. The candidate will handle commercial landlord-tenant disputes, commercial foreclosure matters, and related real estate litigation.

The work:

• Represent clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, from notice preparation through court proceedings
• Manage commercial foreclosure litigation matters
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery processes, appear in court
• Conduct legal research and write memoranda and pleadings
• Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex matters

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 4 years of commercial litigation experience
• Motion practice and discovery experience, including e-discovery
• Prior courtroom experience in commercial disputes
• Commercial landlord-tenant litigation background
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• North Carolina bar license (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to work in Charlotte office at least three days per week
