Real Estate Finance Associate, Seattle · Leading Real Estate Finance Firm

AmLaw firm's Seattle office is expanding its real estate finance group and seeking an associate with capital structure expertise. You'll handle complex financing arrangements across construction, bridge, and permanent facilities, managing transactions with lenders, borrowers, and co-investors.

The work:

• Manage lender and borrower-side real estate finance transactions across the capital stack
• Draft and negotiate loan documents including credit agreements, mortgages, deeds of trust, and intercreditor arrangements
• Structure complex financing arrangements across multiple capital layers including mezzanine debt
• Advise on syndication and balance sheet lending structures
• Support joint venture formation and documentation, including governance agreements
• Work directly with partners and clients on high-value transactions

What they're looking for:

• 5–8 years of real estate finance experience at an AmLaw firm or comparable practice
• Deep knowledge of mortgage and mezzanine financing structures
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• JD and Washington bar admission
• Expertise in capital stack analysis and syndicated lending
