Real Estate Finance Associate, Miami · Leading National Real Estate Firm

A leading national real estate firm seeks a mid to senior-level associate for its commercial real estate finance practice in Miami. You'll work with institutional lenders and borrowers on significant transactions including mortgage loan origination, structured debt arrangements, workouts of distressed commercial properties, and acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate. The practice handles both construction and permanent financing, complex workouts, and represents clients across the full real estate investment lifecycle.

The work:

• Originating, structuring, and documenting commercial real estate loans and debt facilities
• Managing loan workouts and restructurings for distressed properties
• Representing clients in acquisitions, sales, and complex real estate transactions
• Drafting and negotiating financing agreements, loan documents, and transaction agreements
• Conducting due diligence and legal analysis on commercial real estate matters

What they're looking for:

• 4-8 years of commercial real estate finance experience
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Excellent legal writing and research ability
• Florida bar admission or immediate eligibility
• Miami-based; office attendance required three days per week
