Real Estate Attorney, Washington DC · Leading Real Estate Firm

A leading real estate firm is expanding its Washington, D.C. practice and seeking an experienced attorney at the senior associate or junior partner level. The role encompasses commercial real estate across the full transaction lifecycle.

The work:

• Advise developers, owners, institutional investors, and lenders on acquisitions, development, financing, and dispositions
• Negotiate commercial real estate transactions, with emphasis on complex joint ventures
• Handle leasing and asset management matters
• Work with minimal supervision on deals of substance
• Manage analytical work and direct client communication

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years of commercial real estate experience
• Proven track record with developers, owners, institutional investors, and lenders
• Experience negotiating joint venture transactions preferred
• D.C. Bar admission required and in good standing
• Strong analytical skills and excellent academic credentials
• Ability to work independently on complex matters
• Salary range: $280,000-$335,000 based on experience and qualifications
