Real Estate Associate, San Francisco · Am Law Global 100 Firm

An Am Law Global 100 firm seeks a real estate associate for its San Francisco office. The practice handles the full real estate transaction cycle: acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, and restructuring across commercial, residential, and recreational properties. The firm advises property developers, lenders, investment managers, private equity funds, REITs, and institutional investors on all aspects of real estate, including structured equity, structured debt, and hybrid structures. Specialized work includes hospitality development.

The work:

• Property acquisitions, dispositions, and development
• Real estate finance and structured transactions
• Leasing and property management
• Joint ventures and entity structuring
• Restructuring and asset dispositions

What they're looking for:

• 1-4 years of commercial real estate transaction experience
• Background at a large law firm preferred
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage significant projects independently and take ownership
• Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• California bar membership required in good standing
• Salary: $225,000-$310,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits
