Real Estate Associate, New York · Vault Top 20 Firm

A Vault Top 20 firm seeks a real estate associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its real estate finance and development practice in New York. You'll work on complex commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing, with substantial involvement in drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents.

The work:

• Represent lenders on mortgage and subordinate financing transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity arrangements
• Handle real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and development transactions from both lender and borrower perspectives
• Manage construction lending and repurchase facility transactions
• Lead drafting of joint venture agreements, loan documentation, and related transactional materials
• Participate in deal teams with meaningful client contact and early-stage responsibility

What they're looking for:

• 4-6 years of law firm experience in real estate finance or development
• Strong academic background and excellent analytical skills
• Admitted to the New York Bar
• Proficiency with core transactional documents and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously

Compensation: $310,000–$420,000 annually.
