An AmLaw 50 real estate practice in New York seeks a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of transaction experience. The team handles purchase-sale transactions, financing, and leasing matters for institutional investors, developers, and lenders.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate contracts for purchase and sale transactions
• Conduct due diligence and prepare closing documents
• Manage transaction logistics and client communications
• Draft and review lender-side loan documentation and related materials
• Negotiate and prepare commercial leases for landlord and tenant clients
• Review title commitments, surveys, and other transaction documents

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of varied real estate transaction experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
• JD from a top-tier law school
• New York Bar admission in good standing
• Ability to manage and coordinate with small teams
• Excellent academic record
• Salary range: $260,000-$365,000
