Real Estate Associate, Multiple US Locations · Vault Top 10 Firm

Vault Top 10 global law firm with 1,700+ lawyers is hiring a Real Estate Associate for its Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, or New York offices. You'll handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

The work:

• Acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets, including related financings and joint ventures
• Real estate finance transactions, drafting and reviewing loan documents including senior/mezzanine and construction loan arrangements
• Commercial leasing matters representing landlords and tenants across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties
• Transaction documentation: purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, loan documents, closing deliverables
• Due diligence including title review, surveys, zoning analysis, environmental work
• Closing coordination with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of real estate transactional experience
• Strong legal writing, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with title and survey review, zoning and condominium analysis
• Experience managing complex commercial real estate transactions from signing through closing
• J.D. from accredited law school, admitted in good standing in your jurisdiction
