Real Estate Associate, Houston, Dallas, Austin · AmLaw 100 Law Firm

A Houston-based real estate associate role (with flexibility to work in Dallas or Austin) in a nationally recognized real estate practice. This position handles sophisticated transactions across the country and internationally, serving investors, developers, lenders, and corporate clients.

The work:

• Advise on complex real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and structured financings
• Manage leasing transactions, development agreements, and construction matters
• Handle land use, zoning, planning, and title issues
• Conduct thorough due diligence across real estate transactions
• Draft purchase agreements, financing documents, leases, and related materials
• Support clients across single-asset and portfolio-level transactions
• Opportunity to work on renewable and conventional energy projects

What they're looking for:

• Three to five years of real estate and land use experience in a sophisticated law firm setting
• Expertise in acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing, and development transactions
• Strong drafting and communication abilities
• Knowledge of title, survey, and commercial real estate due diligence
• Solid academic credentials
• Interest in leveraging legal technology platforms for research and drafting
