Real Estate Associate, Chicago · Vault Top 30 Firm

A top 30 law firm's Chicago office is seeking a mid-level associate to join its commercial real estate practice. The team handles a substantial volume of transactions for institutional equity investors and private equity real estate funds, advising on the full investment cycle from acquisitions and dispositions through lending structures and workouts.

The work:

• Advise institutional and PE clients on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties
• Support structured borrower-side financing transactions, including term sheet negotiation and credit agreement drafting
• Work on complex lending arrangements and refinancing structures
• Develop transaction solutions for real estate investors across multiple asset classes

What they're looking for:

• 3-4 years of commercial real estate transaction experience
• Significant depth in acquisitions, dispositions, and borrower-side financing
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in parallel
• JD required
