A leading real estate firm seeks a mid to senior-level associate for its Chicago office, with experience across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and real estate finance.

The work:

• Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, and complex real estate transactions
• Handle leasing matters for institutional and commercial clients
• Support real estate finance transactions, including construction and permanent financing arrangements
• Conduct due diligence, title work, and regulatory compliance analysis
• Draft transaction documents, lease agreements, and closing memoranda
• Manage negotiations with third parties, lenders, and counterparties
• Build client relationships and manage transaction timelines from term sheet through closing

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 6 years of law firm experience in real estate
• Demonstrated expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, or real estate finance
• Excellent legal writing and transaction management capability
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative team settings and manage matters independently
