Real Estate Associate, Chicago · Am Law 100 Firm

Am Law 100 firm with strong real estate practice seeks an associate with 3-5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience to handle investment and financing matters in its Chicago office. Salary range $235,000-$440,000 based on experience.

The work:

• Structure and negotiate real estate debt and equity transactions
• Draft transactional documents including operating agreements, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements
• Conduct transactional due diligence, including title and survey review
• Manage all aspects of transaction closings
• Work with clients and deal teams

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience at a recognized law firm
• Illinois bar admission or eligibility for waiver admission
• Strong transactional drafting skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Sound judgment in fast-paced environments
