Public Company Associate, Los Angeles · Vault Top 20 Firm

Mid-level public company associate joining a capital markets practice at a Vault top-20 firm. You'll handle day-to-day securities law compliance, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for an established client base. Your work spans multiple industries including technology, healthcare, real estate, and retail, with clients ranging from established Fortune 500 companies to newer public and smaller reporting firms.

The work:

• Advise public companies on securities law compliance and disclosure obligations
• Manage SEC reporting and corporate governance counseling for multiple clients
• Work with clients across diverse industries including tech, healthcare, real estate, and consumer sectors
• Collaborate with team members on sophisticated compliance and governance issues
• Manage matters independently and support client relationships

What they're looking for:

• 4+ years of relevant securities law, compliance, or corporate governance experience
• Understanding of public company regulation and securities law requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage matters independently and develop client relationships
• Prior experience in either in-house securities work or law firm-based securities practice
