Private Investment Funds Associate, New York · Vault Top 10 Firm

Vault Top 10 firm seeking associate with 4–6 years of law firm experience to join the Private Investment Funds group. Represent domestic and international venture capital and private equity funds across the full spectrum of fund formation, structuring, operations and related transactions.

The work:

• Form and structure venture capital and private equity funds
• Advise on fund operations and regulatory compliance matters
• Handle acquisition and financing transactions for portfolio companies
• Develop alternative investment structures
• Manage substantial transaction components independently and within teams

What they're looking for:

• 4–6 years of law firm experience with hands-on venture capital and private equity background
• Experience representing funds in formation, structuring and operations
• Ability to manage material transaction components independently
• Outstanding academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills
