Private Equity M&A Associate, Philadelphia · Vault Top 30 Firm

A top-tier law firm with a leading private equity practice seeks an associate to join its Private Equity group. You'll work across the full lifecycle of private equity transactions, from deal origination through exit planning.

The work:

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions for portfolio companies
• Structure leveraged recapitalizations and growth equity investments
• Handle venture capital transactions and exit planning
• Manage transaction components independently and lead client relationships
• Provide counsel on equity compensation and portfolio company matters

What they're looking for:

• 3+ years of corporate and transactional experience
• Proven ability to manage complex deals independently and within teams
• Strong business judgment and excellent communication skills
• Outstanding academic credentials and law firm experience
• Relevant bar admission (or eligible to obtain promptly)
• Track record building and managing client and counsel relationships
