Private Equity & M&A Associate, New York · Vault Top 5 Firm

A Vault Top 5 firm is hiring for its New York corporate group, on sponsor-side private equity and M&A. The seat is open to associates from the class of 2024 up through mid-level. You would run transactions for private equity clients and their portfolio companies, from acquisition through exit.

The work:

• Represent financial sponsors on buyouts, add-on acquisitions, and dispositions
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and the related financing and equity documents
• Manage due diligence and coordinate specialist input across tax, antitrust, and finance
• Support portfolio companies on day-to-day corporate matters between deals

What they're looking for:

• Two or more years of M&A or private equity experience at a comparable firm, class of 2024 or more senior
• Comfort taking primary drafting responsibility and running workstreams
• New York bar admission or eligibility
