Private Equity Associate, Houston · Magic Circle Firm

Magic Circle firm seeking an associate with 4-6 years of experience for its corporate practice. You'll advise leading private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds, and sovereign wealth funds across the full investment cycle: deal sourcing and structuring, capital raises, M&A, refinancings, growth investments, and exits through sale, IPO, or continuation vehicles. Work spans multiple asset classes and geographies, with collaboration across financing, regulatory, and tax specialists.

The work:

• Advising on complex private equity transactions and investment structures
• Supporting capital deployments, acquisitions, and exit strategies
• Drafting transaction documents and conducting due diligence
• Working across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes
• Collaborating with financing, antitrust, tax, and regulatory specialists

What they're looking for:

• 4-6 years of relevant legal experience
• Texas bar admission
• Strong transaction experience and commercial judgment
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
