Privacy Litigation Associate, San Francisco · Major National Law Firm

Major national law firm seeking privacy litigation associate with 3 to 6 years of litigation experience for San Francisco office. Work focuses on managing privacy and cybersecurity litigation matters, with emphasis on FCRA and data protection statutes.

The work:

• Manage day-to-day case activities and develop litigation strategy
• Lead factual investigations and conduct legal research on privacy issues
• Draft pleadings including answers, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment motions
• Conduct and defend depositions in privacy matters
• Negotiate settlements and terms with opposing counsel
• Handle FCRA and privacy statute litigation matters

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 6 years of significant litigation and case management experience
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills
• Strong analytical ability and client management skills
• Ability to manage smaller projects independently and assist on larger matters
• Federal clerkship experience preferred
• FCRA or privacy statute litigation experience a plus
• Must be in good standing with the California bar

Salary: $260,000 to $350,000 based on experience.
