Privacy + Cyber Litigation Associate, Multiple US Locations · National Litigation Firm
A national litigation firm with offices across the United States is hiring a privacy and cybersecurity litigation associate. The role involves substantive work on FCRA claims, consumer privacy disputes, and class actions at all stages of the litigation lifecycle.
The work:
- Manage case development from fact investigation through trial preparation
- Draft pleadings (answers, motions to dismiss, summary judgment) and discovery materials
- Conduct and defend depositions; negotiate with opposing counsel
- Research privacy and cybersecurity statutes to develop litigation strategy
- Work on consumer litigation and class action matters
- Maintain client relationships and communicate case progress
What they're looking for:
- 4 to 6 years of litigation experience at a law firm, preferably in privacy, cybersecurity, or class action work
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Case management experience and ability to organize complex workflows
- Capacity to deliver smaller projects independently and contribute to larger matters with oversight
- Federal clerkship experience preferred
- Good bar standing in your state
- Track record of managing client relationships
Salary ranges from $295,000 to $350,000 based on experience.
