Patent Prosecution Associate, Multiple US Locations · Leading Patent Firm

A leading patent prosecution firm with offices across the US seeks an experienced patent attorney to join its software and electronics patent team. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous systems.

The work:

• Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO in software, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing technologies
• Handle image processing and autonomous vehicle patent matters
• Work with clients on patent strategy across rapidly evolving technical fields
• Draft patent applications, office action responses, and other prosecution documents
• Collaborate with technical experts and inventors on complex technical matters

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field
• Active USPTO registration or ability to register
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and technical depth
