Patent Prosecution Associate, Multiple US Locations · Leading IP and Corporate Firm

This position offers deep involvement in patent prosecution at a firm known for lean staffing and significant associate responsibility. Work locations include Boston, New York, Denver, and Washington, D.C.

The work:

• Preparing and prosecuting patent applications in molecular biology, immunology, immuno-oncology, genetics, and agricultural biotechnology
• Drafting applications and responding to USPTO office actions
• Advising on patent strategy and diligence matters
• Gaining exposure to diverse client portfolios
• Direct client contact and relationship building

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience (as an attorney, patent agent, or technology specialist)
• Strong scientific or engineering background
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Technical depth in molecular biology, immunology, genetics, or agricultural biotechnology
• Ability to manage matters independently with partner support

Compensation: $225,000 to $250,000.
