The work:
- Patent application drafting and prosecution before the USPTO
- Technical analysis of mechanical systems and designs
- Chemical and materials science patent development
- Patent strategy and client counseling
- Technology evaluation and landscape analysis
What they're looking for:
- 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience (agent or attorney)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline (advanced degree a plus)
- Hands-on experience with mechanical technologies
- Capability to manage chemical and materials science patents
- Strong academic record
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- USPTO registration and state bar admission (or wave-in eligibility required)
