A music associate role at a leading entertainment law firm with multiple US offices. The position is suited to professionals with 4–6 years of music industry experience who want to deepen expertise in transactional work and rights licensing.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate recording contracts, publishing agreements, artist and producer agreements, and songwriting deals
• Handle merchandising, tour-related contracts, management agreements, and influencer/brand endorsement deals
• Perform catalog acquisition due diligence and coordinate copyright and trademark searches
• Advise on the corporate structures supporting these transactions (operating agreements, partnerships)
• Work on entertainment-related financing

What they're looking for:

• 4–6 years' background in music industry law or a major label/publisher business affairs role
• Strong contract drafting and analytical skills
• JD required; must be licensed in your jurisdiction
• Exposure to entertainment financing structures is valuable
