Mid-Level Commercial Disputes Associate, Newark · Global Law Firm

A global law firm seeks a midlevel associate for its Commercial Disputes practice in Newark. You'll handle general commercial litigation, multidistrict litigation, and class actions in state and federal courts, working with experienced attorneys on substantive matters from pleadings through discovery and trial preparation.

The work:

• Research and draft substantive pleadings and motions
• Manage discovery operations, including e-discovery
• Prepare for trial and court proceedings
• Develop client relationships under partner guidance

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience
• J.D. and eligibility for or admission to the New Jersey bar
• Strong research and writing abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Solid academic record and excellent communication skills
• Clerkship or law review experience preferred
