Mid-Level Capital Markets/M&A Associate, Washington D.C. · Leading National Firm

Leading national law firm seeking mid-level capital markets associate for its Washington D.C. office. The role centers on representing issuers in capital markets transactions with regular client contact and business development opportunities.

The work:

• Advise issuers on public and private offerings of debt and equity securities
• Handle SEC filings and regulatory interactions including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements
• Counsel public companies on disclosure obligations, corporate governance, and compliance matters
• Support mergers and acquisitions involving both public and private companies
• Build client relationships and contribute to practice growth within a collegial environment

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 5 years of capital markets or M&A experience
• Strong academic credentials and J.D. from an ABA-accredited school
• Licensed or ready to be licensed in Washington D.C.
• Willingness to work in-office at least three days per week
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
