Mergers and Acquisitions Associate, Charleston · Vault Top 50 Global Firm

Global law firm seeking mid-level M&A associate for its Charleston office. This position focuses on complex transactions with substantial client contact and hands-on mentorship from experienced deal lawyers.

The work:

• M&A transactions including acquisitions, asset purchases, and entity structuring
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation and ancillary agreements
• Due diligence reviews and corporate structuring matters
• Client matters under senior supervision with increasing responsibility
• Closing and post-closing work

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 5 years of M&A transaction experience
• Strong transaction drafting and negotiation skills
• Private equity transaction background preferred
• Self-starter capable of independent work and team collaboration
• Strong academic credentials and communication abilities

Compensation range: $225,000–$255,000
