A mid-level associate role focused on M&A and venture capital transactions. The firm represents startups, growth-stage companies, large public and private corporations, venture capital firms, and investment banks. Work spans technology and life sciences sectors.

The work:

• M&A transactions and capital markets work for a diverse client base
• Venture capital financing, company formation, and related corporate matters
• Drafting and negotiating venture financing documents
• Support for complex, multi-party transactional work
• Client relationship management and ongoing counsel
• Corporate matters including securities and compliance work

What they're looking for:

• 2–3 years of corporate transactional legal experience
• Background in M&A, venture capital, and securities transactions
• Familiarity with venture financing documents and technology company representation
• Ability to draft and negotiate transaction documents independently
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively within deal teams

Compensation: $260,000–$310,000, plus target bonus amounts.
