A leading global law firm with significant presence in major financial centers is expanding its New York M&A practice. You'll advise clients on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity fund formation, and financial institution transactions.

The work:

• Structuring acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers
• Private equity fund formation and investment transactions
• Advising on financial institution transactions
• Drafting and negotiating transaction agreements
• Managing transactions from formation through closing

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 6 years of M&A experience at a law firm
• Demonstrated ability to lead transactions
• Experience drafting transaction documents
• New York bar admission
• Strong academic credentials
• Compensation $260,000–$390,000 based on experience and skills
