M&A Associate, Multiple US Locations · Prominent Corporate and M&A Firm

Multi-office M&A position for mid-level attorney handling middle-market and upper middle-market transactions, with emphasis on private equity deals. You'll work on sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional matters alongside experienced deal lawyers for institutional and strategic clients. Compensation ranges from $290,000 to $420,000.

The work:

• Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures for private equity sponsors and corporate clients
• Document drafting and negotiation on complex transactions
• Coordination with clients, opposing counsel, and cross-office deal teams
• Full transaction lifecycle involvement from due diligence through closing

What they're looking for:

• 4-8 years of M&A and corporate transaction experience
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple work streams independently
• Direct client relationship experience and interest in business development
• JD from accredited law school and bar admission in the hiring state
