M&A and Private Equity Associate, Houston · Magic Circle Firm

Junior associate at Magic Circle firm advising multinational corporations, private equity funds, and growth companies on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate restructurings across multiple sectors.

The work:

• Draft term sheets, NDAs, purchase agreements, and transaction documents
• Manage due diligence review and document organization
• Support negotiations and attend client meetings
• Handle client communications and deal logistics
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary, international transaction teams
• Support deal execution from signing through closing

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years substantive M&A experience at a leading law firm
• Experience representing buyers, sellers, and private equity sponsors
• Domestic and cross-border transaction experience
• Sound commercial and legal judgment
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• JD from accredited law school
• Texas Bar admission or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and project management skills

Compensation: $225,000–$260,000
