M&A and Private Equity Associate, Boston · Am Law 100 Firm

This Am Law 100 firm seeks a corporate associate to join its M&A and private equity practice in Boston. The role offers exposure to sophisticated commercial transactions with a national client base and clear partnership-track expectations.

The work:

• Execute acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures for private equity sponsors and financial institutions
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents for direct investments and fund formation matters
• Support portfolio company management and acquisition strategy
• Collaborate with clients including global commingled funds, independent sponsors, and family offices
• Provide efficient legal counsel both independently and as part of multi-office deal teams

• 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience
• Admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage complex legal concepts and competing deadlines

• Approximately 60% in-office work expectation
• Compensation: $260,000-$365,000 plus bonus eligibility
