Transactional associate in the investment funds practice of a leading global firm, with focus on private fund formation, institutional investment, and fund-related M&A work.

The work:

• Advise fund sponsors on formation, capital raising, and investor negotiations, including side letter arrangements
• Handle GP stakes and secondary transactions involving fund interests and management firms
• Advise institutional investors on fund investments, co-investments, and related transactions
• Support SEC reporting and disclosure matters for investment managers and investors
• Work on M&A and strategic transactions involving investment managers and financial institutions
• Collaborate across practice groups to deliver integrated solutions on complex mandates

What they're looking for:

• Approximately 3 years of experience in private funds, investment management, or related transactional work
• Strong familiarity with private fund formation and institutional investments
• Understanding of regulatory and marketing issues affecting private funds and managers
• Prior exposure to cross-border or international client work preferred
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and commercial awareness
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and develop client relationships
