Litigation Senior Associate, Multiple US Locations · Vault Top 20 Firm

An international law firm at the top tier of the profession seeks a senior litigation associate with substantial experience managing complex commercial disputes. The role sits within a respected litigation practice known for high-stakes matters and clients across government, technology, and corporate sectors.

The work:

• Prepare and argue briefs for trial and appellate proceedings in state and federal courts
• Oversee large-scale discovery operations, including document productions of massive scope and leading document review teams
• Conduct depositions, defend depositions from opposing counsel, and manage pre-trial discovery disputes
• Handle motion practice and negotiate strategic positions with opposing counsel
• Lead aspects of cases and manage assigned litigation teams
• Provide strategic case assessment and risk analysis throughout case development

What they're looking for:

• Four to six years of post-JD experience in law firm litigation, with demonstrated success
• Exceptional writing skills and sharp analytical abilities
• Significant state court litigation experience required
• Proven ability to manage complex discovery and lead teams effectively
• Strong professional relationships and collaborative work style
• Valid bar license in the jurisdiction where the position is based
• Background in law firm practice is preferred
