Litigation Associate, Seattle · Global Litigation Firm

A global litigation firm is hiring a litigation associate for its Seattle office to work on complex, high-exposure commercial disputes and insurance coverage matters. Associates participate in all phases of litigation alongside experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative, growing practice.

The work:

• Participate in all phases of complex litigation, from inception through trial preparation and resolution
• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, and supporting briefs
• Engage with clients and opposing counsel on case strategy and litigation management
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Manage deadlines, priorities, and client communication

What they're looking for:

• Washington bar admission in good standing
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Experience with or interest in insurance coverage litigation
• Ability to manage multiple sensitive and time-sensitive matters simultaneously
• Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Compensation range: $125,000–$200,000 annually, plus performance bonuses, flexible PTO, and comprehensive benefits including six months paid parental leave
