Litigation Associate, Sarasota · Leading Litigation Practice

A leading litigation firm is seeking a motivated mid-level litigation associate for its Sarasota office. You'll take on substantive responsibility in commercial litigation, work directly with clients, and advance your career in a collaborative environment.

The work:

• Litigate general commercial disputes in federal and state courts
• Research legal issues and prepare pleadings and dispositive motions
• Conduct depositions and prepare for trials
• Manage electronic discovery workflows including document collection and review
• Partner with clients on complex litigation matters
• Handle financial services litigation matters as they arise

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of federal and state court litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities
• Solid academic credentials with careful attention to detail
• Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively with teams
• J.D. and Florida bar license
• Practical judgment and commitment to client service
