Litigation Associate, Newark · Vault Top 25 Firm

A Vault top 25 law firm is recruiting a mid-level commercial litigation associate for its Newark office. You'll handle general commercial disputes, class actions, and multi-district litigation in state and federal courts, working alongside experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring and increasing client contact.

The work:

• Research legal issues and prepare pleadings and motions independently
• Oversee discovery processes including electronic document management
• Handle document review and production in complex matters
• Build trial and deposition experience through hands-on mentorship
• Support litigation across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation, class action, or multi-district litigation experience
• Proficiency in independent legal research and complex discovery management
• Strong academic performance with excellent research and writing abilities
• Self-directed but collaborative approach to case work
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to or eligibility for the New Jersey Bar (clerkship or law review experience preferred)
